You’re on a date, you need a splash of high culture, need to communicate a sense of history and, if you can, show you’re in touch with contemporary architecture. You’re gonna get so laid. So, pop out of the red line (aka “my limousine”) at Glòries and waddle (make it a sexy waddle!) into the shiny new DHUB building also know as La Grapa (because it really does look like a gynormous stapler). Make a witty comment to that end before you lead your date into Da HUB. Start with the Museu de les Arts Decoratives and walk through time from Gothic to Olympic Barcelona looking at furniture and product design through the ages with a splash of graphic, architectural, social and political history thrown in (¡cómo no!). Do not get busy on the 15th century bed! Proceed to the Museu Tèxtil i d’Indumentària for a similar walk back through the history of fashion. Pause occasionally to look your date over and comment on his/her utter sexiness. You might both fit under that 15th century bed. No one will ever know.
Where: Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, 37-38
