The mayors of Barcelona, Madrid, Berkley, Philadelphia, Grenoble, Naples, Vancouver, and Valparaíso, among others, share their vision of what it means to be a “fearless city”, from resisting state authoritarianism and combatting the far right to fighting speculation and guaranteeing citizens’ rights to their city. It’s an open-to-all event that takes place on Plaça dels Angels. The summit continues at the UB over the weekend and follows up on subjects such as Housing, gentrification and tourism, Radical democracy in the city council, and Transparency and the fight against corruption.
