Juanma’s afternoons are now spent in an open rectangular space half-filled with two stoves, two stovetops, two extractors, a dishwasher, a huge marble work surface, plenty of lighting, a dining room table that seats nine and about six shelves of cocktail glasses. The rest of the local is left pleasantly open. The plan: culinary and cocktail classes and workshops with a twist in an attractive venue, e.g. The Cakes of NYC, Madmen-inspired cocktails or La Cocina “de Rodríguez”. Starting at €35/person and with the priciest class at €48.50/person (because of the foie!) this is a deal. Three hours of drinking while learning to cook something you then eat for dinner?
